All the artificial(synthetic chemical based) sweeteners ...........without exception... ... are harmful. I have been associated with the Global Pharmaceutical Industry for close to 3 decades and how the US-FDA is to be "managed" to either promote your stuff or downgrade other's stuff is a kid's game. You may like to suggest to your wife, natural alternatives of sugar like for example "Stevia". If your wife is diabetic.....or simply health conscious.....tell her the core of the issue is that calorie output must be more than calorie input on day to day basis. Initially if they balance out, it is fine,. Then there should be an appreciable difference between the output and input and finally say over a period of 6 months, the calorie output must be significantly higher than the input on a daily basis. In such a state, the content of the calorie input becomes irrelevant. In short what I am saying is that if your calorie output is significantly higher than the input on a consistent basis, then if your diet is made of fats, sugar, proteins, carbs...........all the bandied "ills" of modern diet.... ...it's OK...... ........ so long some levels of reasonable balance is maintained, aka a heavy meal at a fancy restaurant is followed by couple of days of veggies all the way. Key is the calorie equation on a daily basis. It's been maybe 5 years since I was diagnosed as diabetic...... and put on chemicals. For the last 3 years........no chemical intake, non-diabetic blood profile which is verified/tested ever 3 months or so ..............hardly any restrictions on diet(being an unashamed foodie)..... .......but boy is there a heavy dose of calorie output, through gym work, aerobics, running, yoga, Pranayam .... .....and some natural herbal supplements. If you or your wife are interested in the specifics, we could prattle off-List. > > Now, my question (s) is (are). > Did my subconscious know this and nudge me in that direction to put > it all together? > Did the universe (God) just provide what I asked for? > The answer came. Otherwise the sub-divided classifications are as real as that which got divided. The "ego", "id", and the "supra"..........are akin the management of the US-FDA.... ...in the business of psychiatry. > Just a thought. > Indeed.
