Right. Then I must be one unlucky man to do C++ dev on a laptop. Not to mention I debug things in a virtual machine. I also happen to use IronPython and F#. Indeed, very unlucky guy.

Apparently, if you do *not* have the C++ part of VS2005 installed the install time is significantly lowered. I have not installed it yet, but will tomorrow (and I have plenty of room along with C++ not installed). So, if you don't need C++, uninstall it first. - david
