They are probably doomed to mutter impotently about the "stupidity
of PHBs", and get impatient and upset at the first setback in their
advocacy. Fine; but there are other ways, which get things done.
Perhaps you are too selective if you care to hang out with so
few people. Otherwise you would realize that you are an *alien*
in the world at large--yes, yes, "thank god"--and must learn how
aliens assimilate and subvert. At the place where I work there
is a near-total loyalty to Perl; it sure wasn't achieved by
hitting people over the head repeatedly with objective truths.
