The virtual community is an amazing resource. More to the point of this
inquiry, I have found that lots of people will respond intelligently and
usefully when asked clear, detailed questions. So, I have become quite
unabashed in asking folks for "the real story". Of course, when a large
institution is involved, finding the right "folks" can be a challenge.
