Just wanted to clear the air. Microsoft is a technology partner of
ActiveState's, not an investor. As are many other company's such as Intel,
Netscape, and Digital Creations, to name a few.

For a list of our investors, such as Tim O'Reilly and Michael Tiemann,
please go to:
http://www.activestate.com/Corporate/People/Investors.html

Our partners are listed here:
http://www.activestate.com/Corporate/Partnerships/index.html

No outside party has a controlling interest in ActiveState :-) Feel free to
contact us if you have any further questions.

Cheers,
Lori

There are a lot of companies that invested in ActiveState, O'Reilly is one
of them along with MS...while money can buy interest and research, it is
unlikely that there is a 'controlling' interest.
