Please don't take the comment as a negative to either MS or ActiveState.  I
just found it interesting that an MS shop would negate using a tool that has
a relationship with MS.

There are a lot of companies that invested in ActiveState, O'Reilly is one
of them along with MS...while money can buy interest and research, it is
unlikely that there is a 'controlling' interest.
