And there are some companies that have lots of internally built Perl
modules which have no real relationship to the company's core
business.  Some of us are inside companies like that--working to get
the approval we need to share those with the world.  The Perl
community and "the company" will surely benefit.

It's not an example of throwing money at Perl, but helps a lot anyway.

I'd like to see more of that as well.  I'm just not sure how best to
encourage it (other than leading by example).
