I know that the API supports gzip but currently I couldn't find any reference to this in the current java client library. The best resource I found is http://sunh11373.wordpress.com/2012/06/11/how-to-enable-gzip-for-google-adwords-in-java-client-library/ But I think that it is outdated since it makes mention of setting AdWordsUser.useClasspathClientConfig(true), which doesn't exist anymore.
I'd appretiate if you could give me a brief description of the steps needed to enable (or hack) gzip compression in the current version of the library.
