The devout Hindu sees a cow as a sacred instance of the divine -- I see it as
hamburger-on-the-hoof.

Not the words -- but the images suggested by combinations of words - or sounds
- or shapes -- yes, perhaps those are similarly understood.

So.... a Hindu painting of a cow can feel sacred to me -- even if an actual
cow itself is not.
