Frances to Armando... It is agreed that all objects that simply exist or that are found and made by humans have an unavoidable aesthetic quality that is embodied or embedded within their form as a property. This quality alone however while a necessary condition is not a sufficient condition for the object to become artistic. Something further would be needed to allow the object to become art. This would also presumably apply to objects of architecture. It is not however agreed as you stated that architecture is any edifice made by a human that gives shelter. The few examples posted here by listers of what objects might be justly deemed architecture let alone artistic include those that offer no shelter.
