I find this to be what is problematic about the realist and/pragmatist
position; both in their own ways are clear about the difficulties in
opposing camps of thought, which should be inspiration for transformation,
but in each is not. They find the problems of opposing camps intractable,
thus entailed, and resort to a pick and mix approach or an attempt to
synthesis what they have very perceptibly shown to be irreconcilable in
their contradiction of each other. In a Giddensian sense this is
structuration: structure and action locked in war with one another.

Curiously,

Toodle-pip,

Allan.
