So, Saul, where do you think Mando's opinion of Manet's last painting came from?
It was, as you put it, "out of the loop", quite outside those "dominant rules of thought that are necessary to produce a relatively stable framework which will enable and order social productivity." And yet, Mando, the artist, seems to have been at least as productive as anyone else on this listserv. And perhaps more so, in that he is not afraid to share opinions that disqualify him as a knowledgeable, educated person - which opinions challenge conventional knowledge and reveal its superficiality. (ie. no one has yet been able to counter his opinion with anything other than derision, scorn, or name-calling) Believe it, or not, Saul, but some opinions actually do come from a personal sense of truth that has developed outside those norms of social conformity which you take for granted. And concerning such attachment to a personal sense of truth, the word "integrity" is properly applied. ____________________________________________________________ Weight Loss Program Best Weight Loss Program - Click Here! http://thirdpartyoffers.netzero.net/TGL2231/c?cp=0AhWX7XJ3gCY678eXZkowwAAJz6c l_zTaptgNR5c8Mer1v9kAAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEUgAAAAA=
