We have to read the whole post with equal attention in order to communicate. I agreed that there are no universal sets of skills or talent, but learned primary literacy in the chosen field of art or any other profession. We can use our body parts to paint on the surface, but there is natural selection of the best tools to do that- brush, knife, fingers and so on, which were and are used by most painters in the world. I don't buy postmodern crap like 'deconstruction' which is simply analyzing or 'deskilling' which is simply widening approaches to create. Boris Shoshensky
