I would feel a lot better about Berg if he or she actually wrote something and
engaged in discussions instead of merely forwarding already published
articles. As it is, one can't really respond to the material posted and thus
there's really nothing to discuss. What's the point? Any of us can and do
find all sorts of material on the web or at the newstands. Re Berg, where's
this energy and enthusiasm you speak of? Paul Signac finished his book on
George Seurat and Neo-Impressionism with this challenge, "Let the great genius
step forth". So I ask Berg to step forth and actually participate in
discussion instead of remaining behind the curtain or, I should say, behind
the flimsy articles he refers us to.

Understood, William, but every tenth
reference is worth something. It's
simple enough for you not to open open any
of his referrals. He brings
benighted but enthusiastic energy.
