Interesting that I read it as from and not form. That suggests that words do not really need to be "correct" in order to evoke the desired meaning. The cause-effect link is not reliable and may not be viable at all when it comes to communication. Did I create your intention before you expressed it? Maybe it was the order of the words and maybe it was the unconscious surprise of seeing a noun after the word gone and fixing it, unconsciously, for conscious utility. I'm learning this new confusion from Roy Harris who has clear insights. wc
