I've had things reboot when on the AIMS inverter/charger.  I suspect it's related to detecting when to switch between charging & inverting.  If I just flip the breaker off, everything goes onto battery and there's no issue.  When power flickers during a storm, then we have things reboot.

It's very cost effective.  Just have to be ok with that caveat.  I think in the future I'll do a separate inverter & charger.

I don't know your budget, but one option is an inverter/charger like used in the solar industry.   And like I just linked to, although I just realized I picked a 12V one instead of a 48V one.   They have 48V versions as well, but for some reason can't find a 3000 watt one, just a 2000 and a 10000 one.   Aims seems to be pretty well respected, although please do your research before you chose this brand on my recommendation - I don't have enough first hand experience to be sure of this particular recommendation.

Many of the solar vendors which do charge controllers also do inverter/chargers which include both the charging and inverter function in one box.  They're designed to run from shore/generator power in RV and off-grid applications, so the inverter is going to be pretty much designed for continous duty.   Some are way expensive, some are less so.

If you want a real ups instead of an inverter, then I'm not sure where you send you.

Does anyone know of a 120 Volt 3,000 watt (or close, 2,700
watts or more is needed) UPS that comes with no batteries
where we can add a string of 155AH batteries (Preferably a 48
Volt DC UPS so we can add 4 batteries).
