I want to build an equipment shed. Pole barn hay shed type of structure, metal siding on the two long sides, mostly open on the gable walls. But I don’t want to pay a structural engineer for stamped plans. Need something for the county though to get the permit.
I know I can build it and it will be just as sound as one designed by a structural engineer. Poles, trusses, purlins etc. Have done it before. Not having much luck in finding engineered drawings online. Used to be a hardware store in SLC that sold stamped plans for things like this but no more. If anyone knows of such a source, please turn me on to it.
