The B.E.R.G. extended run tank kit includes a red plastic marine tank with a vented cap - you turn a button on the cap to let air in to replace the gas that is drawn into the generator fuel tank by vacuum.
At least it used to come with vented cap. Has anyone bought on of these recently? Is it true that due to an EPA regulation or the Clean Air Act or some such thing, vented caps are banned, and the kit comes with a cap that has no venting capability? If so, how can it work? It seems like a vacuum would build up in the external tank and eventually the generator won't be able to suck out any fuel.
