  Is the EPOCH thing a bug or a feature? It is built into the system, and you 
would expect stations to have a plan to deal with it.

    GPS can be tricky like that.

    Sucks that Airspan won't just give you newer firmware.

    Subject: [AFMUG] Airspan GPS epoch

    Our Airspan gear is failing permanently upon reboot due to the GPS epoch 
causing a wrong date in the basestation which invalidates the operation license 
certificate on bootup.     Airspan wants us to pay for a firmware update to fix 
the problem.   Our firmware is 4 years old.    Does anyone have any Airspan 
gear that is still working running with a more recent firmware?      I don’t 
want to pay for a support agreement just to find they can’t fix it again.
