I’d be ok with 20 years. Considering its only 5 years old, I guess they only expected it to last 5 years. It’s not even a hardware problem which simply provides sync. It’s the license verification software.
The basestation thinks its Aug,26 2099 It thinks someone is running Wimax in 2099! That must be the year they expect CBRS to be available. Airspan wants us to pay for a firmware update to fix the problem. Our firmware is 4 years old. Does anyone have any Airspan gear that is still working running with a more recent firmware? I don’t want to pay for a support agreement just to find they can’t fix it again.
