Like most CDNs and large networks, they certainly have operational issues. I've 
heard of one major market where they've been out of patch panel space for 
months. That could be a facility issue as well. 




In our limited case of Indy, they're getting better because they're pushing 
small people to us as they pull away their cache boxes. :-)

Maybe 5+ years ago they were better to work with. Recently they couldn't 
get new peers like HE set up because the Akamai latched on to it being 
for AMS-IX and then ignored followups to fix it.
