I'd think one of the biggest things is ability to avoid issues like stuck
head or whatever and ability to resolve issues on the fly.

Around here (dont know about drilling) skilled equipment operators are hard
to come by. Tons of operators, but not talented. I like watching skilled
excavators operate the claw like it's their hand.
