Like everywhere else in 2021, wispa will have to make a decision on the
color of their shirt vs the color of their money (hint, green always beats
brown).
2020 didnt help them, luckily, they got out of the politics of a 2020 event.
They dont have the easy out this year. Percieved "safety" or real money,
for an issue that will be gone by the 2022 season. Will they risk 60
percent of their membership? Will be interesting to see. I know for a fact
that their decisions in 2 weeks will define a pretty large number of
renewal decisions.
I would not want to be in their shoes

They're going to alienate a large percentage of their membership no matter
their decision, but that's the sexy part of a free market capitalist
economy, those with the deepest pockets in washington get the most members.

To be honest, theres one guy who could navigate this river of shit and have
wispa walk out smelling like a rose, if they were smart, they'd remember
which whiskey Rick likes best and get him a case of it, as well as a hefty
consultant fee for 2021 to keep the memberships political diversity
directed in the same path.

That claude fella seems like a good BS artist, but hes no Rick, the last
couple years being the proofed pudding of that. I dont know if Rick's full
of shit, or honest, but he has a way of finding that minute section of the
road where nobody is mad enough to stab anyone else.

Also, Vegas. Nope, theres only one place in the planet I'll never go, its
vegas, I'll swim in a texas porta potty in August, or cross the golden gate
bridge before I ever go to vegas. That place is designed for scumbags like
me.
