Whether he is or isn't marginal is irrelevant.

Personally, I don't think either he or Colbert are really "out of a job". Colbert will continue in his current role until early next year. After that, he will land somewhere else; possibly even CBS. CBS did what they did to advance their deal with Skydance (which went through, so that incentive erased itself).

ABC/Disney did what they did to advance the mergers for Nexstar and Sinclair. If those go through, maybe Kimmel will be in the same boat as Colbert.

Same with Kirk. The guy's job was fanning the flames, which he was apparently pretty good at. He was a "conflict entrepreneur". Made pretty good money; not on the same level as Colbert or Kimmel, but not bad for a college drop out.

He's a comedian OK - He's a joke - same as Gutfield.  Same as all the clowns on the VIEW.   The real force behind this is revenue.  Kimmel was marginal anymore.  Once the backlash from his comments hit, he'd be a loss just like Colbert.  It's all about the $$$$.

Kimmel is a friggin comedian for crying out loud. He made plenty
of disparaging jokes about Biden. He probably makes more out of
Trump and his goons because it is a much more target rich environment.

The problem is that people take him seriously, when he's mainly
    trying to get a laugh.

This is where FOX News is smarter than ABC.  They let Gutfield

you think under Biden, any network would have been allowed to do
the same towards him if there were a late-night donkey to do it?
No - they pushed and got Trump banned from social media.  There
is even less justification for that than Kimmel.  Public airwaves
are owned as much by the conservative public as the liberal
public.  Why should alienating half the country on public
airwaves be OK?   Just asking . . .

Sad that Carr is either such a cowardly sycophant butt kisser

something that is clearly prohibited, and had been given a
chance to remedy the situation and didn’t, that is one
        thing.  This isn’t the case.

Only 3.5 more years of this experiment boys.
