I disagree with that statement.
Before Kirk was shot, I'd never heard his name.
I didn't attempt to find out what he did until a day or two after he was
declared dead.
Next thing I heard was that the guy they arrested came from a
conservative (possibly MAGA) family. That was not certain.
The more we hear about the guy, the more he seems like he was
a-political, and did not conform to either right or left labels.
He is certainly not a deep thinker. I think he just wanted to see his
name in the headlines. Meme-centric point of view.
