Not central when viewed in the context of his whole body of work. There are several things I totally disagree with. But many I do. He is vilified through out of context fragments of things he said. People clutch their pearls and have fits of apoplexy without ever listening to the original content. The original content is pretty complete with the whole idea and frequency his justifications. Once heard you cannot really say he is racist or anti gay. But frequently accused of such.
