Can you clarify which model Cambium radio you are using?
Is this a customer site, or one of yours? When you say 650 feet of cable I think customer, but then you say it's a DC site. Maybe solar powered? They make pairs of extender thingies you can buy. They'll be 10/100Mbps because they're doing a voltage step up and step down on the spare pairs for power and then bridging traffic with something like VDSL on the data pairs. At least I think that's how they work. The ones I've seen said they'll extend 30W 802.3at up to 400m / 1200ft. _____ From: AF <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > on behalf of Dev <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, November 7, 2025 3:00 PM To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > Subject: [AFMUG] PoE out to 650 feet? I know you can get away with it out a little past 300 feet, but is there some kind of powered booster that can get you out to 600-700 feet with 48 volt power to run a cambium 6GHz radio? This is a DC site, so no power at the other end of the 650 feet. -- AF mailing list [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
