Still using Traco TSP-BCM48 and "Battery OK" contact to SiteMonitor.

I would not particularly recommend the BCMU except for special cases.

I have one DC site with an Eltek Micropack which has web management as well
as N+1 rectifier redundancy, it's been fine but it's overkill.

All of the above. AC to 48VDC + battery backup. I never had an issue with
Traco or Meanwell for this either, but it's been some years since I've done
it so I wondered if there was some hot new product people liked.

To read the dry contacts on your Traco/Meanwell stuff do we still like
Packetflux? It'd be nice if there was a Sitemonitor with a gigE port.

Are you looking for just an AC/DC power supply, or a battery management
system? When you say rectifier, that conjures up mental images of something
charging telco CO batteries.

Oh, and I echo what Chuck said, I don't think I've ever had a Traco or Mean
Well device fail. I've used some Phoenix Contact in the past, no reason to
pay the premium price for German stuff.

I have used both. Never a problem. I think Calex uses one or the other of
them to do their MDU ont box.

I've used Traco and Meanwell DIN rail rectifiers for wireless before. Since
it's been a few years, I wonder how the market has changed. I see the Traco
TSP-600 is still around, and I had no real complaints with that one.

I was thinking about those types of systems for powering 8-port remote
OLT's. Are there models you guys use or recommend?
