We do that on our Vertiv and GE rectifier systems. If any modern, rack mount rectifier system didn't have a battery test I'd send it back.
I have some old prechewed Eltek Minipacks. I hate them. They work totally fine, and there's nothing wrong with the feature set, but I hate the mechanical aspects. They also have a sticker that says 100V-260V on the rectifiers, but they require a neutral, so they don't actually work with 240V in the USA. I have one DC site with an Eltek Micropack which has web management as well as N+1 rectifier redundancy, it’s been fine but it’s overkill. Since it's been a few years, I wonder how the market has changed. I see the Traco TSP-600 is still around, and I had no real complaints with that one.
