Our legal, insurance, and medical industry is completely out of touch.
The cost is just the surface. The wife is just starting out as an MD.
She can get sued for malpractice just by being present in a room with a
patient that initiates a lawsuit even if she didn't have anything to do
with the care of that patient. Malpractice insurance is for life and
then some.
