I know more about what fiber is where than anyone else in the WISP industry and
have been helping people find solutions for ten years. I have been building a
GIS system of every provider's map that I can beg, borrow or steal. I know
where to find maps for most of the ones that aren't in a GIS format.

I'm now leveraging this knowledge through Erich to help people out in
alternative ways.

It is asinine to expect fiber delivered to your door from anyone other than the
incumbents at a decent rate due to construction. You have to meet the
alternative options on their turf or work through someone like Erich.

What tool are you using to find the fiber? Zayo's long haul is several blocks
from this location and in my experience for them to tap the long haul is like
100k + construction to get it to me, probably would be too expensive

Integra or Zayo aren't good enough?

Modesto, CA. Only thing I can find without doing a PTP is at&t or some other
provider with att loop. Already have Comcast at this location.

Turlock area?

Integra and Zayo both have routes through that area. They might be willing to
open things up. Level 3, Comcast and XO (same route) have long haul but are not
very likely to open up the longhaul.

Not guaranteed to be exhaustive.

So I'm looking over a upstream quote from century link for 1 gig dia and
they are using att as the local loop, where exactly does att and century
link meet so that CL picks up the local loop and gives me ip transit ? Just
some common exchange where they both have facilities ?

Would be a lot cheaper if I could just get the same local loop price to
some internet exchange (same exchange as this quote? Who knows) where I
could pickup some cheap transit...

My only option at this location is att, anyone have any feedback on some
arrangement that isn't uber expensive ?
