The problem is then AirControl can’t manage it and the customer is going to take an hour to walk him through moving the cables. Easier just to drive there plus we have some other stuff to do down there.

We use the LR’s now. In some cases, we put a bigger antenna on them that gives another 2dB but depending on where we have to install, we sometimes run 2 of them or start with AirRouter-HPs and bigger antennas. When we do that the customer has to live with WPA security. Even though the AG/AR have the exact same antenna, I'm concerned about it's placement destroying its coverage in homes. I like the AG-LR's mounting bracket almost as much as the external antenna.
