So it looks like Foster went to Amobee which is in a totally different business:

http://www.amobee.com/

Personally, if I were a UBNT stockholder (which I am not), I would like to see
them split off some of the businesses for better focus and to maximize return
in each area. The enterprise stuff like UniFi and mFi really should be
separate from the Broadband products. And they have wisely kept AirFiber
separate, I could see that being sold off to some European, Asian or Israeli
microwave behemoth. And maybe they should ditch Edgemax and just buy Netonix.
And UWN makes no sense.

Of course Google could buy the whole company from petty cash.

It feels like we are going off topic now, but UBNT announced that their 3rd
quater earnings are lower than expected and the CFO has resigned. Stock has
already fallen more than 5% today. OUCH!

This is V/H polarity. Don't really see any need for
slant on this link. I'm limited for antenna options right now anyway. But these
are working great so I don't think I'm going to mess with them.

                        Josh,
No I did not set antenna gain.

Similar options in 3.x firmware. Have you read Chuck's post on how the AF won't
really let you "cheat" on EIRP? Has to do with distance calculations, tx power,
etc.

looks to me like the antenna gain is at 0db,
since it's saying it's limiting it to 15dbm EIRP... not that it actually makes
any difference, since the TX power is going to be at 15dbm either way... it'll
just be showing 38 on the interface.

getting radar detect. Even though I was 50mhz away from anything else 5ghz on
the same tower. Pretty sure the radar detection was coming from itself because
it would pass the initial bootup listen period and once it started transmitting
would then get the detections. So don't know what that was about.
