Where are they chewing it? They seem to like platforms. Maybe put the cable
through some flexible conduit or LDPE tubing where the chewing occurs. If cost
is the issue, maybe look around for a good price on irrigation tubing, not sure
how big that comes. A determined squirrel could chew through it, but as your
photos show, they tend to chew a bit one place then try somewhere else. I even
used smurf tube once and while clearly that’s not the best choice it seemed to
work.

That sounds expensive and complicated, though less so than running new wires
all of the time. TBH, I'd rather just sit there and shoot them all than run
conduit up the grain leg.

I'd run the cable thru liquidtight conduit.

How much voltage\amperage on the cable's shield could the radio handle
without messing up? Since these squirrels like chewing cables, I'd like to give
them a shocking experience! Hook a cheap fence charger to the ground wire of
the SS chassis? ;-)

Note: I don't actually intend on doing that... not because of the squirrels,
but because I don't wanna jack up the radios.
