An insurance adjuster that was a customer of ours actually recommended
these to us. He specifically did roof inspections after damage.

I have one technician that uses them for really steep roofs. He claims they
are effective on a 12/12. There are some variables like the shape of the
shingles on the roof. If they are falling apart, not much is going to help
you get traction.

The one drawback he does not like is how quickly the pads, but for $15 he
said he could live with it.
