We use it for the offices but not the customers. Its brilliant. The new guys that bought it have already started taking it to the next level. Throw zextras in there and you have zxchat built in for quick communication between all your offices. There is an upcoming xmpp server built in as well in the new 8.7 release. The IRC #zimbra chat room is extremely helpful as well.
Not to mention I haven't paid a dime yet (other than zextras). I'm almost ready to expand enough though that I may be purchasing it. It is a pig though like exchange.
