I have always wondered about long sleeves. I wear them most of the time. But
I do feel cooler at times when I roll them up. I wonder about the Arabs with
those long white dress things they wear. I doubt them would have retained them
over they years if the were not cooler than alternate forms of dress.

I am not bothered by heat much. You dress properly and hydrate when
working in extreme heat. Many believe wearing short sleeves is cooler.
Wrong. I was on a lift most of day installing radios on three story
barracks and when I took break just sat under a tree drinking water and
Gatorade with cheese sticks I kept cool in my Pampered Chef cooler. 6 waters
4 Gatorades and cheese sticks. Cotton T-shirt and long sleeve shirt.
Bandana around neck and under hard hat. Look at Bedouin or other desert
nomads

I'd rather have it be 100F than having to deal with flooding, lightning
