I'm in the process of building a multiport tester myself. I'll be using servers with pcie ethernet cards. Each server will be able to move full duplex random and/or known hard data between them. My desire is to stream 1gpbs between them for 30 seconds, in full duplex across all ports on a poe device, and compare the data fully to ensure no bit errors.
