Yep was hoping not to use a pc to do the transmitting, was hoping there was a

I am looking for a simple, one box, that will take in a 1080p HDMI stream and 
multicast it out into a format, such as H.264 or others, that any windows, 
linux etc, computer can just open the multi-cast stream from their desktops..

Something that would be a few hundred would be fine, but of course cheaper the 
better ☺  ..  Links preferred.
