I do like the Meanwell AD-155C. It's cheap and simple.
I bought their DIN bracket once, but I wouldn't again. It's an L-bracket with some predrilled screw holes and a DIN clip. Very cheasy. IMO just screw it to the backplane of your enclosure, or put a shelf in your rack and screw it to the shelf.

If you need more than 150 Watts, I've been using the Traco TSP series which some people on this list had recommended. It's available in up to 600 Watts at 48V. I believe there's a 960 Watt version, but for some reason that's 24V. It's quite a bit more expensive than Meanwell, and you need two components....a TSP power supply and a BCM. I've been connecting the alarm relays to a Site Monitor switch input and then you get alerts when AC is off or when the battery circuit is open.

DR-UPS40 is *NOT* 24vdc and 48vdc out. It's pretty much a relay that enables charging batteries.

ad-155c will do 120 or 220vac in, terminals for the batteries and 48vdc out

DC 24v to 48v
Meanwell SD-200B-48 - maybe try RSD-200B-48

Both units use these brackets for DIN. You need to buy your own screws (sorry I don't have that documented)

I am looking for something like the DR-UPS40, which is 24VDC but

than I want. DIN or standard case is fine. Does anyone know of
    something to fit this bill?

I found a couple of things from Altech, RLH, and a couple of
others but none I have used before.
