That's what we need. An 8-year-old drinking Tecate.

I have been using the SDR120-48's on our Backhauls for over a year now
and none have failed. Knock on wood... I wanted to see if anyone else was using
the 24's with success.

budget at the moment. Thanks for the info Jaime.

I still have many sites on regular old AC UPS's and AC-DC DIN
rail power supplies plugged into them. Works fine, until the UPS takes a shit.
Then I just convert to a DC UPS. That's the nice thing with the Traco BCMU360,
you can keep your existing power supply, as long as it's enough to run the load
+ 12-15W for maintaining the battery.

But anyway, I used a lot of Phoenix Contact TRIO power
supplies (like 20+) and only one ever died because it was hit with 13kV when
the primary came down on top of the secondaries feeding the building. :( Those
are pretty expensive, so I started buying Mean Well SDR120-24's and so far
those have been working without an issue.

You can't go wrong with an industrial power supply, as long
as it isn't a POS. I consider most Mean Well stuff to be pretty cheap, but
they've proven to not be garbage.

The power supplies that Packetflux sells, seems to burn
out after about a year at the most inconvenient times. I am looking for
something more robust.

Currently, I am using Meanwell SDR120-48 for the bigger
devices (Backhauls and 430 AP's) but am looking for something a bit more
reliable in 24vdc.
