Yeah, that one seems like the Swiss Army Knife solution, even if this particular customer turns out not to need the PA, this seems like the solution that we could standardize on and use everywhere. I read through the user manual and it seems to have all the right stuff. I like the second SIP account you can put in a ring group for the night ringer feature.

So with 2 people giving it a thumbs up, that's probably the way to go.

I have one.  Works great.  Feeds amplified speakers but it does have a PA
built in  to drive speakers directly.

Has anybody used a SIP device that drives paging speakers?  I started out
thinking of an ATA plus a Bogen TAMB2, but I see some SIP devices that look
better featurewise.

From spec sheets, I'm liking the Cyberdata 011233 or 011061, but the Valcom
VIP-801A is cheaper.

Any recommendations?
