I have an MP3 of a ding dong in it and I trigger it with the contact input.
Serves as a door bell for the front desk in addition to paging.

Yeah, that one seems like the Swiss Army Knife solution, even if this
particular customer turns out not to need the PA, this seems like the
solution that we could standardize on and use everywhere. I read through
the user manual and it seems to have all the right stuff. I like the second
SIP account you can put in a ring group for the night ringer feature.
So with 2 people giving it a thumbs up, that's probably the way to go.

I have one. Works great. Feeds amplified speakers but it does have a PA
built in to drive speakers directly.
I think this is it:

Has anybody used a SIP device that drives paging speakers? I started out
thinking of an ATA plus a Bogen TAMB2, but I see some SIP devices that look
better featurewise.
From spec sheets, I'm liking the Cyberdata 011233 or 011061, but the Valcom
VIP-801A is cheaper.
Any recommendations?
