There isn’t enough fiber to worry about yet.  And when they have it, the costs 
are going up.  There is a lot of room below them.

I guess that depends on the area, the services provided to the area, and the 
prices provided for those services in those areas.

For example, $80 will get you 1Gbps on AT&T right now via their gigapower 
product in some markets. In other markets, $80 gets you 12Mbps or so.

Windstream, Time Warner, Comcast etc are similar depending on the market you 
look at for each one.

This is nothing new, I think most of the cable folks have been raising rates 
slowly but surely..

Comcast is also doing a rate hike.

Anybody offering cable TV has to raise rates every year to keep the same profit 
margin. The content costs go up every year. It's stupid.
