And then Cambium did copy them with ePMP :-) But yeah we're using PMP450 lite where applicable Jon Langeler Michwave Technologies, Inc. This has worked just as planned, we install a new tower location with 4 radios knowing that total customers would be around 50 – 70 and we had a ap that was going to have a bit more. We just had our first fill up with 10 users. This is why I love ap lites, if they didn’t have them, I probably would have used different equipment, but now they have a customer buying 450 sms. I just want the new 450i ap to have a lite version, which to me makes sense because they are selling the 450i ap at the same price as the 450 ap. I would assume they are not even making 450 aps anymore, if they are I don’t know why you would buy them unless they are cheaper which my dealer says they are not. So I just don’t want to buy any more outdated aps and I have about 4 towers I want to do this year with lite versions. Craig R. Schmaderer CEO | Skywave Wireless, Inc. You can always order connectorized SMs to use up the extra dishes, so it doesn't matter too much to me (until the Force 200 shows up). Iirc an SM alone is like $25 cheaper than the force 110. Saves a bit per AP. Of course it's not relevant when the force 200 shows up. Streakwave lists it as the same price as the Force110 PTP. I haven't checked pricing at any of the other distributors, since I like having extra dishes anyway. This would be for when you used a Force 110PTP radio as an AP on a sector and then later upgrade the license. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com Midwest Internet Exchange http://www.midwest-ix.com </blockquote> </blockquote>
