Until I got the Kindle paperwhite, with the backlight, I was of the same 
opinion.   Now,  I hate reading dead tree books just because of the external 
light required.   But again I do most of my reading just before bed so that 
might affect my opinion.

telco hacks but man is this guy impressive.  As an old phone guy I am blown 
away at what he learned by just trial and error.  Super super smart guy.  Even 
got the source code to DEC OS downloaded on 1200 bps modems and stored on 9 
track tapes.  He did it all for fun.  Went to jail multiple times too.  

    Best thing, paper books don’t need to be recharged....
