No, typically bridged SM and Mikrotik 951 doing PPPoE, so no double NAT.
Customers say around once per hour (not exactly) while watching an On Demand
movie they will get an error message about not being connected and will have
to reboot the Direct TV receiver to reconnect. I set up wireless logging on
the Mikrotik, and I see the Direct TV device reassociating at precisely 5
minutes or multiple of 5 minutes like 10 or 20 minutes, but that may be due
to some sleep mode, I haven't been able to check while the customer is
watching a movie, so this is when it is idle. Also I see really poor
modulation in the direction from the router to the Direct TV device, like
802.11b type speeds, but again maybe this is some kind of power save mode
when they aren't being used. If I do a ping test to them, the modulation
will usually bump up, but I see packet loss. I don't see this behavior from
anything else at the same customer.

Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Direct TV WiFi problems?
Are you doing a double NAT at the customer's house, perhaps?
I've found that any of our customers who have NAT in both their radio and
router, their DirecTV box stupidly claims that it can't connect to wifi.
What's really happening is that it CAN connect to wifi, but it can't get out
because of the double NAT.

Subject: [AFMUG] Direct TV WiFi problems?
I seem to be seeing a lot of customers who have our managed routers and a
Direct TV receiver that seems to have WiFi issues, but all their other WiFi
devices work fine.
Does Direct TV have a problem with their WiFi? I'm not talking about video
to other Genies around the house, but from the router (2.4 GHz) to the
receiver.
I usually see the router reporting a signal from the Direct TV box in
the -25 to -35 range, I suspect people have them right next to each other,
but they won't listen to me and use a cable.
Could it be they are too close and the signal is too hot? I'm not sure if I
should try turning down the transmit power on the Mikrotik, but that seems
like it would invite problems with other devices like phones.
