Chuck, Do they rust out because of the “tape” failing and letting moisture into them? Or is it because of your environment or both? I am asking because we have quite a few up in the air. I also have at least one on the shelf but its not NIB.

Every few years they have to be replaced because the internals rust out, but we are used to identifying the issue and replacing them when it happens.
