I like the Epilogue 3001 narration based on AC Clarke's short story The
Game and later 2001 Space Odyssey series of books....but deep in my heart I
am a man of faith because I have witnessed some life changing events based
on prayer. Our miracle was not some apparition on a tree or side of
building, no burning bush, no parting of the seas....after 12 years of
heroin addiction, I got my daughter back...now a great mom and wife,
counseling and helping other addicts trying to quit. I testify to that!

Now the science guy in me sees all the recent discoveries on Higgs Bosom,
gravitational wave verification, and telescope searches finding galaxies
further and further away in time and space.....to me it just follows my
Jesuit mantra...for the greater glory of God. the deeper we search the
more mysteries we find....I tell my grandchildren they are going to see and
witness things we had never even conceived. Study engineering, science
and math but always keep faith in God.

For my atheist buddies on list I will quote David Clayton Thomas from Blood
Sweat and Tears, " I swear there ain't no heaven, but I pray there ain't no
hell."
