George,

We are trying both sectors, I’m interested to know your findings more
specifically on the two options.

I think he means the 450i integrated 90 degree sector AP. Matt said that's not
the best choice for frequency reuse due to the relatively low F/B ratio on that
antenna. That's what the connectorized AP is for... clusters.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the KP antennas. We've use quite a
few of them. However, we've found that the Cambium/Laird/Anatel/whatever the
hell they are now OEM sectors with null-fill work the best. That's just my
opinion. Do we like paying out the ass for an antenna... no, but it works for
us.

I have a hard time believing the OEM sector doesn't have a sufficient FTB.

I didn't think the integrated sector option had the front to back required

Is that the new 450i AP? Why did you use KP sectors instead of the
integrated sector option? Also why not be on thst grainleg in the background
too? Also how tall is that tower?

When the 5GHz 450 first came out, we quickly used it to replace the
last of the Trango 5830's we had left (12 or 13 sectors). The 5830 stuff wasn't
as robust as Canopy FSK, but it sure worked for a long time just like FSK.

Funny seeing those two next to each other. It's like a rotary phone
next to the latest iPhone.

Yep, old network was inherited Trango from another company, hence
the upgrade to 450i to migrate clients to the latest and greatest.

I'll bet your climbers talk really nice about you when they are
climbing around that sector.....

Just thought I’d share this here too, it’s at the Cambium
Community also. I took my drone out to a jobsite where we just installed some
450 on a tower we acquired. It was a little windy, so the video has a few
bumps in it. Enjoy.
